Please Note: 

• An adapter plate (please see related products below) is required for mounting of top cases.
• This item can be used with or without with the original BMW OEM hard sidecases & mounting racks.
• While it's possible to direct-bolt the "universal" Givi Monolock plate that's included with the purchase of a Givi Monolock topcase to the Alu-Rack, we do not recommend it because (1) part of your passenger seat may be covered by the Monolock plate, and (2) the screws included with the Monolock plate are too long for this purpose and may scratch your taillight. We strongly recommend that you purchase the SW-Motech Adapter plate to properly install your topcase on this rear rack.
