As steering stabilizers are used in all sorts of conditions & terrain, it is imperative that they have an easy to use, effective adjuster system. The Ralle-Moto stabilizer uses our own unique rotary disc valve to control the flow of hydraulic fluid within the stabilizer unit. Ralle-Moto Products are only able to successfully use this valve design because we are able to repeat the precision of the stabilizers internal components. All Ralle-Moto stabilizers are fitted with our 8 position primary dampening adjuster. The adjuster provides the rider with 8 levels of dampening force, they range from position 1 where the stabilizer is still functioning although with a very light dampening effect, through to position 8 where the dampening effect is very noticeable at the handlebars.Unlike needle valves, which require the rider to count the clicks to be able to find a particular setting, the MSC system enables the rider to go precisely between settings giving very accurate repeatability. This 3-way mode switch controls a separate return to centre porting system. The Ralle-Moto system is unique in that it enables the rider to select 3 completely different dampening profiles at the flick of a switch.
“M” for Motocross- when this mode position is selected the stabilizer will dampen as per the main adjuster setting on the away from centre movement, the dampening will fade to zero between 30 degrees of rotation & steering reaching stops. On the return to centre movement the stabilizer has zero dampening effect. This profile is ideal where the motorcycle/quad bike is being ridden over jumps typically found on motocross tracks, as it makes it easier to straighten the steering in the air, whilst still drastically reducing headshake & absorbing wheel deflections whilst on the ground.
“D” for Desert- when this mode position is selected the stabilizer will dampen as
per the main adjuster setting on the away from centre movement, the dampening will fade to zero between 30 degrees of rotation & steering reaching stops. On the return to centre movement the stabilizer maintains 50% of its dampening effect. This profile is ideal when the motorcycle/quad bike is being ridden at high speed, typically using higher than position 6 on the main adjuster, this setting allows the rider to use the harder dampening settings on their stabilizer to eliminate high speed headshake whilst still finding the bike easy to control in the sand whoops commonly found in desert country.
“C” for cross-country -when this mode position is selected the stabilizer will
dampen as per the main adjuster setting on the away from centre movement, the dampening will fade to zero between 30 degrees of rotation & steering reaching stops. On the return to centre movement centre movement the stabilizer dampens the same way but in reverse to the away from centre movement. This profile is ideal when the motorcycle/quad is being ridden in rocky, rutted terrain where obstacles are trying to deflect the front wheel/wheels & the handlebars from the rider’s hands, typically found when ridding cross-country.
All units are completely serviceable without the use of special tools or oils
